I earned my Masters degree in Counseling from Seattle University with areas of concentration in
"The Emotional Impacts of Cancer", "The Impact of Cancer Diagnosis on The Family", "The Benefits
of Breast Cancer Support Groups" and "Collaborative Healthcare" (integrating mental health therapy
in the primary care setting).
I completed a 12-month clinical internship at Lutheran Community Services, and a 12-month clinical
externship at Presbyterian Counseling Services. I am also a Registered Counselor with the State of
Washington.
I specialize in treating clients who have been impacted by cancer and clients who wish to make
life changes. I am 20-year cancer survivor and have over 17- years experience working with patients
in a medical setting, appreciating my time in breast surgical oncology and medical oncology. I am
also in the process of publishing "The Breast Cancer Journey Planner, "The Prostate Cancer
Journey Planner" and "The General Cancer Journey Planner".
